Books for Retail Bookshops

Setting up a new bookshop in many poorer areas of the world is fraught with difficulties, not least being the ability to buy new stock. Currency restrictions and lack of capital can simply prevent a new venture starting.

BookAid (Australia), like its counterpart in the UK seeks to supply new and second hand books to recognized retail outlets to enable them to begin self funded projects

We send books in batches of between 1000 - 5000 books and bibles. We try to carefully select material to avoid cultural bias as well as being able to offer a representative and balanced selection of books suitable for sale.

Books are selected for their spiritual value and with the average church member in mind. Included also are books for new Christians and evangelistic material.

More specialist material such as books suitable for preaching and expository works may be included in the packs for Christian workers or libraries.

We do include:

All material should be in very good to fine condition. We do not use books that are damage or marked though of course books with very minor flaws are included.
