Providing Christian Literature to Areas of Need
Book
Aid Committee
Back to About Us
The
BookAid (Australia) advisory committee is
responsible for overseeing the work of
BookAid (Australia). The financial management
of Book Aid (Australia)
is the primary concern of the Book
Aid committee and this aspect is reviewed
independently to the day to work of
Book Aid (Australia).
In addition the Book Aid
Committee acts in an advisory capacity on the content of
literature being sent overseas as well as the priorities and
needs overseas.
The maintenance of doctrinal standards is the final
responsibility of the Book Aid
Committee.
The committee will meet quarterly with regular sub committee
meetings reporting to the committee.
Sub committees include: Marketing,
Finance, Literature.
We welcome input from new members and interested parties
outside Sydney who might find it difficult to attend
committee meetings. Regular e mails are sent to members to
discuss issues arising and to review procedures.
A doctrinal commitment to a conservative evangelical and
reformed position is required by members.
